Two days to enjoy Antibes Juan-les-Pins !

Day 1

After breakfast in one of the town's cafés, spend a little time on the beaches of Ponteil or Salis. Then walk along the ramparts and reach the Cours Masséna via the Safranier district. Visit the surrounding alleys, enjoy a little shopping and head to the Picasso museum. Spend an hour or two in the museum, admire the building's architecture, the beautiful view it offers and the collection's many paintings by the masters. As you leave the museum, pass by the Cathedral and stroll through the district located between the ramparts and Rue Aubernon. Continue until you reach the esplanade, where the Nomade is located, from which you can admire the Quai de Grande Plaisance, also known as the "Quai des Milliardaires" or "Billionaires' Quay".

Enjoy your lunch in one of the restaurants located in the old town, on the outskirts of the port area, and visit the artisans who have set up their workshops in the Casemates, on Boulevard d'Aguillon. Don't forget to look for the Urban Art works hidden around Antibes Juan-les-Pins.

Head to the harbour and follow it until you reach Fort Carré. Here, you can pay a visit to Fort Carré (booking highly recommended), then make your way around it via the path. Enjoy the pebble beaches to the east of the Fort (keep an eye on young children, the water becomes deep very quickly). Then, return to the old town, visit the Peynet and Cartoon museum, stroll through the shopping streets, visit the St Bernardin Chapel and dine in the old town. Head to the theatre, the cinema, a cinema or watch a Sharks basketball game.

Day 2

Visit the "Marineland" park from 10:00 (recommended duration: minimum 4 hours) or visit the village of Biot and its artisan glazers.

Pick up your vehicle and head towards Cap d'Antibes (Bus no 10 from Biot to the exchange, then take bus no 2 to Phare de la Garoupe). Climb to the Garoupe lighthouse – either on foot via the  Chemin du Calvaire path (starting opposite the small port of Salis –  shuttle no 14 in front of the SNCF train station) or by car. Visit the Garoupe Chapel and admire the panorama.

Then head all the way to the end of the cape and park in the André Sella car park (or take bus no 2 to the Fontaine stop). Take the Tire-polis footpath for a short hike (good shoes required, about 1.5 hours – map booklet available at the Tourist Office). A small beach may be accessed at both ends of the footpath. If the Villa Eilenroc or its gardens are open, make a little detour.

By car, head to Juan-les-Pins along the coast. Admire the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and the various villas dotted along the road. Park near the Pinède. Cross it and follow in the footsteps of the great Jazzmen and women who have made the Jazz à Juan festival famous.

Head to the beaches for a swim, a drink, a dinner, a walk along the sea, a spot of shopping or to discover the Belle Epoque architecture of Juan-les-Pins.
